Special English Set Releasing in July – Could It Be “Black Bolt” and “White Flare”?
Pokémon fans, mark your calendars! A brand-new special English set is set to launch on July 18th, and speculation is already running wild. Could this set be based on Japan’s highly anticipated Black Bolt and White Flare expansions?
Release Schedule & Product Lineup
The first wave of products will arrive on July 18th, starting with two Elite Trainer Boxes. Following this, additional products will release in phases:

August 1st – Two Tech Sticker Collections & Illustration Rare Boxes

August 22nd – Two Booster Bundles

Is This Set Based on Black Bolt & White Flare?
Japan’s Black Bolt and White Flare sets will debut on June 6th and will feature all 156 Unova Pokémon, similar to how Pokémon 151 covered the original Kanto roster. With the English release featuring two Elite Trainer Boxes and two Booster Bundles, there’s strong evidence that our version could also be split into two sets.
The presence of multiple Elite Trainer Boxes and Booster Bundles suggests the possibility of separate booster packs containing different cards, much like the Japanese versions. If true, this would be an exciting new way for English collectors to experience Generation V’s Unova lineup!
What’s Coming After Journey Together?
In addition to this special set, we can also confirm that the next English expansion following Journey Together will launch on May 30th. This set is expected to include key cards from several Japanese decks, including:
